Automatically write your changelog on schedule

Get a fresh changelog draft written for you on the day and hour you choose.

Published

You want a public changelog without writing it yourself. Turn on automatic drafts and a new edition is written for you on the day and hour you choose, ready to review before it goes out.

New products start with automatic drafts switched off, so nothing is written until you turn it on. Existing products keep the rhythm they already have.

Choose your rhythm

You pick the day and the hour your draft is written. If you use editions that publish themselves, you also pick the hour the review window closes.

Both default to 07:00 UTC, so if you never change them your schedule works exactly as before.

What to expect

Your first automatic edition covers the last 30 days, so it reads as recent news. After that, each edition only covers what has not been announced yet, so you will not see the same change twice.

While a draft is being written you see the work in progress and how long it has been running. You can leave the page and come back, and the time shown stays true.

If writing fails midway, that edition stays due and is tried again. One failure does not skip a week, and it does not hold up other products due at the same time.
