featury

Common questions

What does featury do?

featury connects to your repositories and keeps an always-current map of what your software does, a plain-language feed of everything your team ships, and answers to questions about your product. You can also capture requests and bugs, track them to delivery, and share reports and public updates. Start with the live feature map.

How do I connect my code to featury?

You can bring GitHub repositories into featury so it can analyze your code and keep the map and feed up to date. Once connected, changes arrive on their own and the map reflects new, changed, and removed features. See connect repositories.

Can I ask questions about my product without reading code?

Yes. You can ask about your product in natural language and get answers about what it does, where each feature lives, and what changed, without reading code. You can also ask about a specific feature and keep chatting from any product page. Try asking about your product.

How do I keep a changelog without writing it?

featury writes a plain-language summary of what was delivered in each deploy, classified by type and impact, and can publish a public changelog on a schedule you choose. You review each draft before it goes out, and every edition gets its own shareable page. Learn more in automatic changelog.

How do I track bugs and ideas to delivery?

You can capture bugs, ideas, and changes as requests, discuss them in context, and follow each one from planning to delivery. featury closes the loop when the code ships, and lets you know when a request is confirmed or rejected. See request tracking.

Can I invite people from outside my company?

Yes. You can invite people to your workspace and you can share a single product with external people without exposing the rest of your organization. Managers control who can do what through roles. See workspace invites.

How do I share progress with stakeholders?

You can generate delivery reports for a period, export them as slide presentations, and share them by link for meetings with stakeholders. For customers, you can publish a public changelog feed and help centers they can read without signing in. Start with delivery reports.

How does billing for AI use work?

AI use is charged for what you actually used and you can see spend and limits for your organization. If you need more during a busy month, you can buy one-off credit packs that do not expire at the month end. See credit packs.
