Invite people to the workspace

You can invite colleagues to your workspace so you can work on your products together.

To invite someone, add their email address as a member. As you type, featury suggests people you already work with, such as colleagues from your other workspaces and guests of this workspace. The suggestions only include people you can already see. If the address is already a member or already has a pending invite, you will see a warning so you do not send a duplicate.

If an invite lapses or the email never arrives, you can send it again. A pending invite can be re-sent with a fresh link and a new expiry period, from the members page and from the product guest list. Expired invites are clearly marked with how long ago they expired, so you can tell what is still waiting and what needs to be re-sent.

What the person you invite will see:

1. They open the invite link and create their account or sign in.
2. Invite links always bring them into featury. They cannot send someone to another website.
3. If they open a link they already used, they go straight into their workspace instead of seeing an error. If they are signed out, the sign in screen tells them they already accepted it and offers sign in.
4. If someone was removed from the workspace after being invited, the link shows as no longer valid.
