Connect your GitHub account
Link your GitHub account so featury can read your repositories and keep your product map current.
Connecting your GitHub account lets featury read your repositories and explain what your product does in plain language. You only have to connect once, and featury can then keep your work up to date.
When you start a connection, it opens in a small pop-up window so you stay on the page you were on. When you finish, your new account appears right away with no need to reload. If your browser blocks the pop-up, featury will use the regular redirect instead.
Here is what to expect during setup.
- Start the connection and approve access on GitHub.
- If GitHub does not send you back already signed in, featury will ask you to complete one short GitHub sign-in confirmation.
- Finish the process in the same browser where you started it. That keeps the link secure.
- featury checks that your account can see every repository the connection covers before it completes.
If nothing was linked, the setup screen will say so directly and tell you how to start again. A change you make to repository access on GitHub is already saved there, so you can simply begin a new connection.
Once connected, you can check the status of your sources in Check your code sources and fix failures. To learn how featury stays current after that, see Keep your repositories in sync automatically.
