Invite outside contributors to your team
Managers can now see email addresses for outside contributors so you can invite them without waiting for an admin.
You can invite outside contributors to join your team without waiting for an admin to share their contact details.
If someone contributed work but does not have an account in your organization yet, you can now see their email address as a manager and invite them directly. This helps when freelancers or community members have helped build your product.
Where you will see contributor emails
You will see the email in the same places you already see contributors:
- On each feature's detail page, in the Who knows this area card
- In the change feed, next to the author of each delivery
- In the People tab for your product
What to expect
You only see an email for contributors who are not yet members of your organization. People who already joined do not show an email because they already have an account and do not need an invite.
Admins and owners could already see these emails. Now managers can too.
