Record product decisions

You make calls about your product that never appear in code: how things should work, what to enforce, what you agreed. You can save those decisions in featury so everyone sees the why and answers stay consistent.

Find your decisions

Open your product map and look next to Docs for your decisions list. Decisions are grouped by where they stand: proposed, in force, and history. Anyone on the team can open and read them. If you are a manager, you can add new ones and edit existing ones.

You can also share a link to a single decision. A guest who opens that link can read that one decision without seeing the whole list.

Stay current and consistent

When you ask about your product, featury starts from what you recorded, so replies follow your earlier choices instead of guessing again.

If a shipped change might affect a decision, you will see a possibly outdated note with the reason. The list marks it in amber until a manager chooses mark as reviewed or edits the decision.

Your decisions sit alongside what your product does today and your team docs, so the rules stay with the map.
