Sign in and stay signed in

Sign in with email or GitHub, use an emailed code if you like, and stay signed in while you work.

Published

You can create an account and sign in with your email and password or with your GitHub account, and stay signed in while you work.

Go to Sign in to sign in to your existing account, create a new one, or reset your password.

What to expect

  • If you prefer not to open a link, you can finish signing in, signing up, accepting an invite, or resetting your password by typing the 6-digit code from the email. On sign-in, choose the option to have a code emailed to you.
  • The email address you type on sign-in, account creation, or password reset stays filled in when you move between those screens, even when an emailed link opens sign-in in a new tab. It is cleared when you sign in and when you sign out, so a shared computer does not keep it.
  • Every password field has a show and hide option so you can check what you typed.
  • Password managers and browser autofill work in all sign-in, sign-up, password, and invite forms.
  • A short problem on our side will not sign you out mid-use. You stay in the app and can keep working.
  • If you sign out while offline, the app still signs you out on that device.

If something goes wrong

If our side runs into a problem, you will see a message that asks you to try again soon. If you open an invite link you already accepted, you go straight to your workspace instead of seeing an error.
