Open commits from chat and comments
Click a commit mention in chat or request comments to open it on GitHub without copying anything.
You can jump straight to the work behind a conversation. When a chat reply or a request comment mentions a commit, it appears as a link that takes you directly to it on GitHub.
You do not need to copy a long reference or search for it yourself. Just click the link to see what changed, who changed it, and when.
Where you will see these links
- In chat messages with the assistant
- In comments on requests
- In the main text of a request
If you discuss what was built or why something changed, the commit is one click away. This is useful when you are reviewing a delivered request, following up on a bug, or sharing context with someone else.
