Close requests automatically from commits
Include a request's reference code in your commit to mark it delivered without extra steps.
You can finish a request without extra manual work. When the code that resolves it is delivered, featury closes the loop for you.
This helps you trust that delivered work is marked as done, with no follow up needed to confirm it.
How it works
When you file a request, it gets a short reference code you can share with your team. If that code is included in the message for the change that resolves it, featury treats the request as delivered when that change ships.
See Copy a request's reference code to find and share the code.
What to expect
Once the change is delivered, the request shows as delivered. You do not need to close it by hand, and you will not see a duplicate confirmation.
A few details to know:
- Requests closed in this way do not need a second check. The delivery was already confirmed.
- If you close a request by hand or by combining it with another one, featury still verifies the result first.
- If you reopen a request and close it again, the normal check runs again.
If a delivery still needs your confirmation, you will find it in the list of deliveries to review. See See deliveries waiting for confirmation and Know when your request is done.
