Copy a request's reference code

Copy a request's reference code in one tap so you can mention it in a commit or pull request.

Published

When you fix a request or build what it asks for, you can close it automatically by mentioning its reference code in your commit or pull request. Copying that code takes one tap.

Copy the code

  1. Open the request to show its detail panel.
  2. Look at the title bar at the top, next to the reference code itself.
  3. Select the copy option next to the code.

You do not need to scroll down into the description to find it. Paste the code into your commit message or pull request text, for example with Closes, and the request will be linked to that work.

Learn more in Close requests when work is delivered.

If copying does not work

If your browser blocks copying, the button shows a warning instead of looking unchanged. Follow the message on screen, such as copying the text by hand.
