Reconnect a lost repository connection

See a warning when a repository connection breaks and reconnect it so your map stays current.

Published

You connect repositories so your product map stays current. If that connection breaks, featury tells you and helps you fix it, so you can trust what you see.

Connections most often break quietly after the app is removed and added again. Without a warning, your map would stop updating and look complete when it is not.

Here is what to expect.

Automatic recovery first. When a sync fails, featury checks if the connection behind that repository still works. If another working connection has access to the same repository, featury moves it there and syncing resumes on its own. You do not need to do anything.

A clear warning when you need to act. If no other working connection has access, the page tells you it needs to be reconnected. The status indicator takes you directly to the affected repository, where you can see the error and reconnect or try again.

To avoid gaps in your map, reconnect as soon as you see the warning. After you reconnect, automatic updates resume.
