See which AI assistant did what

See which AI assistant filed a request, left a comment, or changed a status, while keeping the key owner responsible.

Published

When several AI assistants work in your account at once, you can tell which one did what instead of seeing everything under the name of the person who owns the access.

This matters when assistants file requests, leave comments, or change a status on your behalf. You get a clear record of machine-made work, and you still know who is responsible for it.

What you will see

  • Requests filed by an assistant show the assistant's name alongside the person who owns the access in the request timeline.
  • Comments and status changes show which assistant acted, with the responsible person kept alongside it.
  • The assistant name is only a label so you can tell work apart. It has no permissions of its own.

How assistants get recognized

You do not need to set anything up in the assistant itself:

  • An access key can be tied to one assistant when it is created. Every action made with that key is then shown under that assistant's name.
  • If an assistant announces its own name when it connects, that name is remembered and used for its work automatically.

If you revoke a key tied to an assistant, only that assistant loses access. The key owner stays listed as the responsible party for past work.

If you use assistants from your own tools, learn more in Ask the assistant from your own tools.
