Mention a teammate in a request comment
Type @ in a request comment to notify a teammate in their inbox and by email.
You can get a specific teammate's attention on a request without waiting for them to find the discussion.
Mention them with @ in a comment on the request. Use this when you need their input, their review, or you just want them to see what you wrote.
What happens when you mention someone
The person you mention gets a notice in their app inbox. They also get an email, so they see it even if they are not in the product right now.
You will not get an email for your own mention. If the name you typed does not match anyone, no email is sent.
Good to know
@ mentions work inside request comments. They are best for a direct question or a timely update for one person.
