Return to your page after signing in

Open a shared link while signed out and featury brings you back to that exact page after you sign in.

Published

You open a link to a request, a setting, or a specific update and you are asked to sign in first. featury now takes you back to that exact place after you sign in, so you do not have to find it again.

This works when you open a shared link while you are signed out and when your session ends while you are reading. It works with every way of signing in, including a password, a code sent by email, and signing up with email confirmation. If you reset your password in the middle, you still return to the page you wanted.

It also covers extra steps on the way. If you are asked to add your name, or you land on the waiting for approval or suspended screens, you continue to your original page once you can enter. And signing out clears the saved place, so the next person who signs in on the same browser does not land on your page.

What to expect:

After you finish signing in, you land on the linked request, settings page, or specific change in the feed. If you were reading a shared update, you land on that update, not at the top of the list.

To learn about signing in, see Sign in and stay signed in. To learn about links to single updates and requests, see Link directly to a specific change and Share a direct link to any request.
