See replies as they are written

Watch featury write answers live, with clear options to stop, resume, or retry if a reply is interrupted.

Published

You do not have to stare at a spinner while featury works. You see the answer appear as it is written, so you know it is working.

While the assistant is working you see a pulsing Thinking indicator. Its detailed reasoning stays collapsed by default to keep the answer easy to read. You can expand it if you want the detail. Your choice to show or hide it is remembered the next time you sign in.

If you want to stop an answer, use Stop. What was already written stays on screen, you can type again right away, and you can use Resume to continue the same turn.

If a reply is interrupted, you are not left hanging:

  • The text written so far stays in place.
  • You see a short message that explains what happened.
  • You are offered a way to retry.

A reply that stops because the connection dropped, stalled, or expired will not look like a finished answer. In some cases featury retries once on its own. If that still does not finish, it says so honestly instead of pretending it is complete.

This applies in chat and when you file requests. For more on what happens when an answer is cut short, see Know when an answer was cut short. To keep reading long answers while they stream, see Read while the assistant is still replying. To send a follow-up while it responds, see Send a follow-up while the assistant responds.

What to expect

Short answers appear quickly. Longer research takes more time and arrives in pieces. If nothing new appears for a while, wait a moment for the retry or error message before you refresh the page.
