See what is being built before it ships

Open the Building tab in Changes to see what your team is working on before it ships.

Published

You want to know what your team is building right now, before it is delivered. Open Changes and go to the Building tab to see everything still in progress in one place.

The main changes feed only shows what already shipped. Building is the opposite: work that is started but not yet delivered, with a count so you can see at a glance that something is on its way.

What you see

Each release in progress gets its own section. It tells you where it is headed and what it carries, with the affected features grouped by area and the related requests listed alongside.

Work that is still being written sits in a separate section below. That way you can tell what is ready to go from what is still being changed.

What to expect

  • The view refreshes on its own, so you do not look at stale work.
  • Finished work inside a release reads like a history: you can see when it landed and open the original change behind it.
  • Very large releases show the most recent entries and give you a link to see the full list where your code lives.
  • Requests are only marked as going out with a release when their own work is truly in progress.

The product map also shows counts of what is being built per feature and area. To learn more about unfinished work on the map, see See what is being built before it ships. To understand how a request moves to done, see See when a request is being built.
