Control how new signups join
Let new users join right away on the free plan, or require your approval first for early access.
You decide how open the door is for new people who want to use your product.
Leave signups open if you are launched and want anyone to get started right away. New users land on the free plan immediately, with no waiting for you to approve them.
Require approval if you are in early access or a private phase and want to review each person before they get in. Approval mode is still available when you want to keep things closed.
What to expect:
- Open signups mean faster onboarding. People can sign up and start using the product on their own.
- Approval mode means more control. You review each signup and decide who gets access.
If you use approval mode, you can approve new signups from email.
Which should you choose
Choose open signups for launch and public growth. Choose approval for waitlists, pilots, and early testing when you want to talk to each new user first.
