Manage your changelog without signing in

Let your tools and assistants review, edit, and publish changelog editions without signing in to the app.

Published

You can keep your public changelog moving without opening the app. If your team automates publishing, your own tools and assistants can review, edit, and publish editions for you.

What you can do

From outside the app, with the same access as a manager, you can:

  • See the current draft edition and how often new editions are prepared
  • Set standing notes for the writer, so every edition follows your guidance
  • Change how often editions are prepared and published
  • Prepare a new edition, edit it, publish it, or unpublish it

This is useful when you want publishing to happen on its own, or when one script handles the final checks before an edition goes live.

What to expect with scheduling

You choose the day new drafts are written, and now also the hour of day. If your editions publish themselves after a review period, you also choose the hour that review period ends.

Both hours default to 07:00 UTC, so nothing changes unless you change it.

If you already write on a schedule, see Automatically write your changelog on schedule and Publish your changelog automatically after review for how the timing works.
