Share a link to each changelog edition
Each changelog edition has its own permanent page you can share, find by search, and preview when pasted.
You can share any release with a link that always works.
Each published edition of your changelog has its own page with a permanent address. Send it to a customer, add it to your own release notes, or post it anywhere. Anyone who opens it sees that edition.
Each edition can be found by search, so people can discover a release by its own link. When you share a link, it shows a preview with the edition's name. If you give your edition no name, the date is used instead.
Your main changelog page lists recent editions and pages through older ones, twenty at a time, so a long history stays easy to browse. If someone opens a link to an edition that no longer exists, they land on your product page with a way back instead of a dead end. Pasting your main changelog address shows the full page.
To give your editions clear names for sharing, see Name each changelog edition. To set how often editions are created, see Automatically write your changelog on schedule.
