Use the public API reference

A public reference with examples that shows developers how to connect their own tools to featury.

Published

You can connect your own tools to featury without reading code or asking for internal access. The public API reference shows you what is possible, with full explanations and examples you can copy.

Open the For developers section from the homepage or footer to find the reference.

What you will find there

  • How to sign in your integration with a personal key, and where in the app to create one. If a key is missing or invalid, the answer tells you what to send and where to create a new one.
  • How to work with requests, changelog editions, and the changes feed. The changelog section shows how to list editions, move through pages, open the permanent address of each edition, and use share cards, with a sample call and a link to the live page.
  • What a reply looks like. Successful replies wrap the data in the same way, and failed replies carry a clear error code so you can tell a real refusal from a temporary problem.
  • What limits apply and what to expect if you hit them, including how long to wait before you try again.
