Changelog drafts save as you type
Your changelog edits save automatically as you type, so closing the tab never loses work and publishing ships what you saw.
You can review a changelog draft without worrying about losing text. In featury, your edits save by themselves about half a second after you stop typing.
Look for the quiet Saved line near the editor. It confirms your latest text is stored. If you see Not saved, the last edit did not store. Stay on the page, check your connection, and let it save before you publish.
You can close the tab at any time. Your draft will be there when you return.
What publishing guarantees
When you publish, featury waits for any pending save to finish. If that save failed, publishing stops. This means what goes live is what was on your screen, never an older copy.
What review looks like
Fields grow to fit your text, so you never scroll inside a small box. They stay plain until you hover or focus them, so you read the edition the way a reader will and only see editing controls where your cursor is. On a long draft, the bar with the publish controls stays pinned to the bottom of the screen, so you never have to scroll to find it.
To set what readers see first, name each edition. To skip manual work, write your changelog on schedule.
