Collect feedback and error reports

Collect notes, ratings, and error reports from visitors, group repeat issues, and tell people when their request ships.

Published

You can hear what people think of your product and spot what is breaking, without chasing messages across tools.

Use feedback and error reports to collect notes and ratings from visitors, group repeat problems together, and let people know when what they asked for has shipped.

What you get

Feedback sits alongside your requests, with the context you need to decide what to do next. Repeat server problems are grouped together and linked to bugs, so you can see what is affecting people most.

Collection is on for every product unless you turn it off. Notes sent from your product and server problems are accepted automatically.

Adding the website kit to your site does not switch anything on by itself. You still control what you collect.

Closing the loop

When something someone asked for ships, you can let them know by email. You choose how to follow up under your feedback rules: by email, by automatic alert to your other tools, or both.

If sending a rating fails because of a temporary problem, the rating stays on screen with a Try again option. Only a setup problem that needs a fix switches ratings off.
